People ask us when and how we got started in breeding. I had Neko and Cierra with NO plans on Breeding them. I was working 2 jobs at the time (while learning the AKC show's/schutzhund) and did not know Cierra was in heat. Before I knew it she had dug her way out of her kennel into Neko's kennel (when I was at 1 of my jobs) then out popped 12 (Yes 12) German Shepherd Puppies. All survived and I found good homes for all of them. I then wanted to learn as much as I could about  breeding/pedigree's, so there it began. If you count the unplanned breeding between Cierra and Neko then I have been Breeding since 1999.

We actually started with our first American/German, German Shepherd (Neko) back in 1993. At that time we only did AKC showing, and won several ribbons and received his AKC CD.  About 1 year later (1994) we were introduced into the schutzhund world. We were so over whelmed when we went to our first schutzhund trial. It was amazing to us.  It was nothing compared to AKC,  and looked so much more rewarding. We did pass and get our schutzhund BH with Neko. We also put a BH on a family member's German Shepherd Dog too.

We then purchased our 2nd German Shepherd Dog that is 1/2 West Show and 1/2 West Working lines.  The more we worked our West girl (Cierra) the more we realized that she was more of a laid back loving girl, either though her father was imported from Germany to our local police department as a K9 police dog. 

Then we decided to purchase are next German Shepherd Dog that was 77% East German DDR and the rest was West Working Lines (Layla).  Layla was crazy for the sport. She was extremely civil, and that is what I loved about her!!! She had been tested on a hidden sleeve and did not hesitate at all for the bite. She was also our PPD (personal protection dog) as well. With her pedigree we became involved in researching the East German DDR lines.

So there began are breeding of East German DDR and West working lines. We Love this combination because the DDR mellows out some of the  west working lines and brings in the thick bone, blocky heads, and Gorgeous pigment and the west working lines bring in the food/prey drive, etc. We have had Great results with this combination. Our puppies are able to settle in a family home environment. We will not say we know it all, because we will always be learning until the day we die. We can say that we strive to bring into this world the best of the German Shepherd Dog that we can. We do this for the German Shepherd Dog in a whole, with sound temperament, health, clear mind, broad head, strength, structure, social, and over all wellness from our Kennel. Every dog/puppy that  we have is treated just like a part of our family. Their not just a kennel dog. We don't just sell a dog/puppy and that's it.
